We defend clients in cases involving allegations of discrimination and predatory lending (e.g., Fair Housing Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act and Civil Rights Act), unfair competition and deceptive trade acts and practices, fraud, false statements, false claims, state and federal securities laws, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duties, loan repurchase, federal and state mortgage consumer protection (e.g., the Truth in Lending Act, and Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act), sales practices, privacy and data security statutes (e.g., Telephone Communications Privacy Act), as well as other claimed violations of regulations and laws governing their business activities. We also represent plaintiffs in federal and state court actions, particularly against the United States and in enforcement of judgments and in international discovery matters.

BuckleySandler LLP Reviews

Advice to law firm management: I would like to ask managers to figure out a way to mentor junior attorneys. I believe that the culture may have been overwhelming for some of them at the beginning.

Pros: During my time there, I was able to work on interesting cases and work with very intelligent people. I also liked that I could speak with upper management at any time if I had any questions.

Cons: The only issue I had was that we worked many hours every single day on our cases. Also, I had to work on the weekends sometimes, which caused burnout.

Advice to law firm management: Maybe management should crack down on rumors and gossip during work hours.Give Buckley Sandler a try if you want market beating pay and great perks, but if you aren't a fan of the occasional drama storm then this firm might not be for you.

Pros: Buckley Sandler is a great place to work, for the most part. The firm is diverse and management makes a special effort to treat everyone with dignity and respect. Pay is fantastic, and bonuses are out of this world.

Cons: Office drama can sometimes blossom and keep growing until it seems like it's all anyone can think about.
