Communicate with your superiors to stay on top of payments and workload changes. Make sure to constantly be on top of this because it sometimes take a while to get a response.
A great firm that strives itself on professionalism. The staff here is very accommodating to the employees offering competitive wages, large office spaces, and balanced workloads. My time here was a great learning experience.
It is hard to sometimes get a prompt response from our superiors. There is a lot of work being passed around so responses and emails about payments for example can get delayed.
Hire more mid-level employees and train some of the lower level employees to take on more responsibility to be able to help the lawyers better.
They are known for their top-notch work and entrepreneurial spirit. Overall, it's a fantastic place to work as an attorney and you can actually have a life outside work.
There is somewhat of a lack of growth opportunities and the salary isn't that great for the area. There is often a lack of good support staff.
Open up channels of communication for all employees who have ideas and welcome that feedback openly and uncritically. Engage with these suggestions and work toward building the resources to foster this creativity. I think that this will move the firm in the direction it needs to go in-one that can set itself apart as a leader in the industry that truly places its employees and clients as top priorities.
Good opportunities for upward mobility
The work procedures could be updated and improved with a little more creativity. This is something that the management should reward, rather than discourage as it could lead to better communication among all employees. Some of the workflows I was a part of were improved with suggestions I made along with other colleagues. However, this is just one success. Repeating this kind of success may take time, but I am confident it will be worth their resources.
Thank you.
