A law firm is seeking a Title Attorney for its Alpharetta, GA office.

Job Overview:

The Title Attorney will supervise and manage day-to-day operations and workflows for a team of title examiners and legal assistants. They will serve as a subject matter expert for title-related matters across various states, assist foreclosure attorneys and paralegals with title-related requests, and develop training materials and sessions for team members.

Duties:

  • Directly supervise and manage the day-to-day operations and workflows for a team of title examiners and title legal assistants.
  • Assist foreclosure attorneys and paralegals with title-related requests, including client pre-foreclosure and post-foreclosure inquiries and third-party title curative requests.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for title-related information and processes across states, particularly in probate, mobile homes, condo and homeowners associations, surplus funds, notice, ownership, lien priority, and title curative.
  • Develop training guides and conduct training sessions for newly hired title examiners.
  • Created and presented educational training sessions for team members across a range of title-related topics.
  • Review and execute curative documents as needed.
  • Analyze corrective action opportunities and present recommendations.
  • Ensure meticulous attention to detail in all title-related matters.
  • Work independently to handle title-related tasks efficiently.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of title experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience practicing law in foreclosure.
  • Underwriting experience.
  • Mobile home de-titling experience.
  • Probate review and other probate-related experience.
  • Bar Membership.

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Bar Membership in the relevant jurisdiction.

Skills:

  • Intermediate to advanced-level computer and general office skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Meticulous analytical skills.
