Meta is seeking a talented and experienced attorney to join their privacy legal team as a Lead Counsel for AI Privacy. This role will involve being a subject matter expert on various issues related to artificial intelligence and advising Meta's product, business, and legal teams on emerging requirements.

Responsibilities:

- Serve as an expert on global privacy and AI-related laws and regulations at Meta
- Assess and execute plans for complying with new AI laws
- Assist in responding to regulatory inquiries and investigations related to AI
- Provide legal advice and support to internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with product and business teams to identify, evaluate, and address privacy risks

Minimum Qualifications:

- . degree (or foreign equivalent) and membership in at least one US state bar
- 5+ years of legal experience, including at a law firm and/or in-house experience with internet or technology companies
- Experience with AI technologies and global privacy and AI-related laws, regulations, and industry guidelines
- Strong business judgment and client counseling experience

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role ranges from $167,000/year to $233,000/year, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
