In this role, you will join our State and Local Tax (SALT) practice as a Manager and have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of professionals who provide consulting and compliance services to a variety of clients. You will have the opportunity to manage multiple projects and client relationships, as well as contribute to the growth and development of the practice.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Managing and coaching a team of professionals on various state and local tax consulting and compliance projects.
Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, understanding their business issues and providing solutions to meet their state and local tax needs.
Researching and analyzing state and local tax laws and regulations, including income and franchise taxes, sales and use taxes, and property taxes.
Providing technical guidance and assistance to clients on state and local tax issues.
Assisting clients with state and local tax audits and controversies.
Managing project workflows, budgets, and billing for multiple clients.
Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with existing and potential clients.
Staying up-to-date on state and local tax developments and communicating key updates to clients and team members.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required; Master's degree in Taxation or related field preferred.
CPA, Member of the Bar, or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may also qualify for this opportunity.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in state and local tax consulting and compliance, with a focus on income and franchise taxes.
Strong knowledge of state and local tax laws and regulations, including income and franchise taxes, sales and use taxes, and property taxes.
Excellent research and analytical skills.
Experience managing multiple projects and client relationships.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to travel up to 20% for client projects.

Salary Information:
The salary range for this position is $90,000-$125,000 per year. Actual salary will be based on relevant work experience, qualifications, and skills.
