As a Tax Director at FORVIS, you will have the opportunity to work closely with others to plan for the future and help successful companies and their owners avoid surprises, coordinate tax strategies, and grow. With multiple locations in Oklahoma, including Oklahoma City, Enid, and Tulsa, you will have the chance to work with a diverse range of clients across a variety of industries. This is a highly responsible role that requires excellent client relationship skills, time management, and attention to detail. As a Tax Director, you will be responsible for providing tax compliance and advisory services to individuals, partnerships, S corporations, and corporations. You will also play a key role in managing and developing client relationships, coaching and mentoring professional tax staff, and overseeing the work of engagement teams. You will also have the opportunity to research complex tax issues, apply your findings to projects, and effectively communicate those findings in writing. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 9 years of experience in public accounting or a corporate tax department, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA license is also required. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in Taxation or Law degree, as well as experience with partnership tax.
