  • Handle renewable energy transactional work, encompassing M&A, joint ventures, build-transfer agreements, and various commercial agreements such as PPAs, O&M Agreements, Shared Facilities Agreements, and procurement contracts.
  • Oversee conventional energy and natural resources transactional work, with a focus on oil and gas.
  • Manage engineering, procurement, and construction contracts for renewable energy generating facilities.
  • Handle financing transactions within the energy and natural resources sector.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of demonstrated experience in a sophisticated law firm environment.
  • Proven track record in managing complex energy and natural resources transactional work.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Bar admission in the state of Colorado.

Advantageous Experience:

  • Engineering, procurement, and construction contracts for renewable energy generating facilities.
  • Financing transactions in the energy and natural resources sector.

Skills:

  • Strong project management skills to handle complex transactions on tight timelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with subject matter experts, local counsel, junior lawyers, and legal support staff.
