Phoenix office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an employment attorney with 1 year of employment law experience. The candidate will draft, review, and manage assigned cases to attend mediations, depositions, and hearings. Will evaluate potential claims and provide legal advice to prospective Clients. Effectively negotiate suitable settlement agreements on the Client?s behalf when appropriate. Meet with and work closely with Clients, expert witnesses, medical professionals, staff members, other Attorneys, and Partners. Advise and counsel employer regarding multiple and complex legal issues, recognizing and addressing potential risks with situations including performance documentation, discipline, termination, layoffs, employment agreements, waiver and release agreements, non-compete agreements, confidentiality agreements, etc. Should preferably have a strong understanding of global labor and employment laws and be able to navigate complex legal issues with ease. Must be in good standing with the Bar Association. Should have a working knowledge of a wide range of laws and regulations applicable to employment on the federal, state, and local level, including Title VII, ADEA, OWBPA, ADA, FMLA, ERISA, FLSA, and NLRA. Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
