A law firm in Wilmington, DE, is actively seeking Junior and Mid-level Corporate Litigation and Counseling Associate Attorneys to join their dynamic legal team. The successful candidates will handle a diverse range of complex matters, including M&A litigation, derivative suits, control disputes, alternative entity disputes, and proceedings pursuant to Delaware statutory provisions. This role will primarily involve representation in the Court of Chancery, as well as other Delaware state and federal courts.

Duties:

  • Manage and work on various complex and challenging corporate litigation cases.
  • Handle all phases of litigation, including motion practice, oral advocacy, and eDiscovery.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners to develop legal strategy and provide counsel.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in at least one . jurisdiction.
  • Ideally, admission to the Delaware Bar; however, candidates willing to take the Delaware Bar exam will also be considered.
  • Demonstrated experience in all aspects of litigation, with a focus on corporate matters.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in at least one . jurisdiction.
  • Delaware Bar admission is preferred.

Skills:

  • Comprehensive understanding of corporate litigation, M&A, and Delaware statutory provisions.
  • Proficient in legal research and drafting legal documents.
  • Strong oral advocacy skills and comfort with motion practice.
  • Familiarity with eDiscovery processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
