A law firm in Denver, CO, is seeking a Senior Labor & Employment Associate Attorney with at least 4 years of experience. The ideal candidate will interpret labor laws and regulations, manage cases involving various labor and employment matters, and possess the following qualifications:

Job Overview: The Senior Labor & Employment Associate Attorney will interpret labor laws, manage cases, draft legal documents, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide exemplary client service.

 

Duties:

  • Interpret and advise clients on labor laws and regulations
  • Manage cases involving wage and hour matters, workplace safety, disability, employee leave, workplace harassment, discrimination, wrongful termination, etc.
  • Draft and review employment agreements, contracts, company policies, and employee handbooks
  • Collaborate with in-house counsel, human resource professionals, and managers at companies of various sizes
  • Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in labor and employment disputes

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an ABA accredited school
  • Admitted to practice in Colorado or able to be waived in
  • Significant experience in traditional labor and/or wage and hour matters
  • Strong work ethic, entrepreneurial attitude, high level of attention to detail, and exemplary client service skills
  • Team player with strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

 

Experience:

4+ years of experience as a labor & employment attorney
