The attorney will work with venture-backed private and public companies, handling various transactions such as equity financing, IPOs, M&A, and corporate governance. Experience in public company work and registered equity offerings (IPOs and follow-on offerings) is essential, and experience with life sciences companies is preferred. The candidate should have experience working both in teams and independently in managing substantial components of transactions. Outstanding academic credentials, comparable law firm experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and CA Bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly) are required.

Duties:

• Collaborate with venture-backed private and public companies on various transactions.
• Handle equity financing, IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance matters.
• Focus on capital markets and public company work.
• Work with life sciences companies.
• Manage substantial components of transactions both independently and within teams.
• Provide legal advice and support to clients.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Draft and review legal documents.
• Ensure compliance with legal regulations and requirements.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of legal experience in corporate and transactional matters.
• Focus on capital markets and public company work.
• Experience in registered equity offerings, including IPOs and follow-on offerings.
• Experience or interest in working with life sciences companies.
