Silverdale office of our client seeks a family law associate attorney with 2-3 years of experience. The candidate will develop and preserve working relationships with clients; understand and respect client goals. Prepare clients for realistic outcomes of a case. Will conduct and prepare legal research for legal proceedings on behalf of clients. Prepare correspondence, affidavits, and legal documents on behalf of clients. Prepare and file pleadings on behalf of clients. Prepare and file briefs and motions in court on behalf of clients. Prepare and obtain discovery on behalf of clients. Prepare for and participate in hearings and trials on behalf of clients. Maintain current, working knowledge of the Washington State Court Rules of Professional Conduct. Ensure client files are up-to-date and organized. Led team of Paralegals and Administrative Assistants on a case-by-case basis. Operate personal vehicle when necessary to conduct company business. Performs other related duties as assigned. Must be proficient in oral presentation of case position and argument for case outcome. Must have passed the Bar Exam and be Licensed to practice law in Washington State. Experience in Family Law is desirable.
