Summary:

Position: Tax Senior Associate
Locations: Multiple locations including Springfield, MO, Branson, MO, and Joplin, MO
Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience
Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant progressive tax experience in public accounting or a combination of corporate tax and public accounting experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, Master's degree preferred
Certification: CPA license preferred

Responsibilities:
- Provide tax compliance, tax provision, and tax advisory services to various entities, with a focus on industries such as manufacturing and distribution, construction and real estate, professional services and technology, and financial institutions
- Supervise, develop, and coach professional tax staff
- Manage client relationships and provide exceptional client service
- Represent FORVIS at networking events and participate in campus recruiting initiatives
- Contribute to internal and external publications and learning and development sessions
- Work with team to assign projects and resolve scheduling conflicts
Qualifications:
- Relevant progressive experience in public accounting or a combination of corporate tax and experience in public accounting
- Strong sense of ownership and commitment to delivering high-quality service to clients
- Excellent supervisory, team building, and time management skills
- Ability to work well with a team or independently
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Solution-oriented mindset and willingness to take initiative
- Detail-oriented with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
