These positions will be managed by the Southeast Missouri Litigation office and are located in DSS offices within their respective circuits. As an Attorney-Legal Counsel at DLS, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of Missouri children and families by providing comprehensive legal counsel and support to DSS. This includes a focus on permanency, such as reunification with a parent, guardianship, termination of parental rights/adoption, and other planned permanent living arrangements. You will work closely with local law enforcement, service providers, and family support teams to promote swift and safe resolution of juvenile court challenges experienced by children.
