In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing a State and Local Credits and Incentives Tax practice for Eide Bailly, one of the top 25 CPA and business advisory firms in the nation. You will work with clients to identify, negotiate, and implement state and local tax incentives across the United States, and collaborate with other departments within the firm to provide comprehensive services to clients. You will also have the opportunity to mentor and develop staff and recruit experienced professionals to build a world-class practice. Your typical day may include attending industry meetings and conferences, conducting research, managing client relationships, and providing mentoring and training to team members.

Qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's or . and . in Taxation preferred), 9+ years of experience in credits and incentives consulting, and a valid CPA license. You should also have extensive knowledge of tax accounting principles, IRS regulations, and state and local tax incentives. Strong networking and business development skills, as well as excellent communication, time management, and relationship-building abilities, are also required.
