Tax Manager - Global Information Reporting - Trust Solutions

PwC is currently seeking a Tax Manager to join our Global Information Reporting (GIR) practice, which helps clients comply with international rules for information reporting and withholding tax requirements. In this role, you will be responsible for providing guidance to clients on compliance with global tax information reporting rules, researching complex tax issues, and applying tax technical skills in reviewing and preparing various IRS tax forms.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide guidance to clients on compliance with global tax information reporting rules
- Research complex tax issues and reach appropriate conclusions for clients
- Apply tax technical skills in reviewing and preparing various IRS tax forms
- Lead staff in preparing and filing information returns and other tax forms
- Develop innovative technology solutions to increase efficiency in compliance processes
- Assist in the development of educational materials for information reporting and withholding requirements
- Train and manage local staff and contribute to the development of team's technical skills
- Understand and stay up-to-date on applicable US tax rules and requirements, including the Common Reporting Standard (CRS) and Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA)
- Possess strong written, organizational, and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate analytical, problem solving, and project management skills
- Be able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Identify and address client needs by actively participating in meetings and discussions
- Willingness to travel (post-covid)

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax compliance or consulting
- CPA, Enrolled Agent, or active member of the Bar
- Strong understanding of global tax information reporting rules and regulations
- Experience with IRS tax forms W-9, W-8BEN, W-8BEN-E, W-8ECI, W-8EXP, and W-8IMY
- Familiarity with the Common Reporting Standard (CRS) and Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA)
- Proficient in using digital tools and technology for compliance processes
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
