A law firm is seeking an Innovation Attorney - E & I and Finance for its Seattle office. The candidate will support the Firm’s innovation efforts to enhance the delivery of legal services, focusing on the E&I and Finance business units. They will collaborate closely with unit members and leadership to develop and improve practice content, client-facing solutions, and streamline service delivery through the utilization of technology and efficient processes.

 

Duties:

  • Develop and enhance practice content to streamline legal service delivery, including maintaining and automating precedent libraries, coordinating deal document organization, and integrating relevant third-party resources.
  • Lead projects to improve client-facing solutions, such as intake processes, deal data sharing, and leveraging experience data for future transactions.
  • Streamline legal service delivery through digitalization, automation, and utilization of online resources.
  • Serve as a resource for practice-related queries and issues, vet and implement legal technology, and provide training and knowledge sharing.
  • Integrate AI, including generative AI, into legal practice to automate workflows and improve service delivery.
  • Evaluate and identify opportunities to improve client service through internal data analysis, external benchmarking, and monitoring market trends.
  • Educate legal professionals on practice content, technology, and initiatives to enhance legal services.
  • Develop and maintain case studies for marketing, business development, and portal pages for the business unit.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris doctorate (.) from an accredited university or college and admission to practice in good standing in a US jurisdiction.
  • 4+ years of experience as an E&I attorney in a large law firm.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with workflow, document, and communication management best practices and technology.
  • Understanding of knowledge management, practice/project management, and efficiency principles.
  • Enthusiasm for legal technology, including AI applications.
  • Excellent analytical, project management, prioritization, and organization skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

 

Education:

Juris doctorate (.) from an accredited university or college.

 

Certifications:

Admission to practice in good standing in a US jurisdiction.
