A law firm in Seattle is seeking a Mid-Level Class Action Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably from an AmLaw 100 firm, to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess superior writing, research, and analytical skills, with a strong academic background and class action defense experience being highly preferred.

 

Duties:

  • Handle class action defense, complex commercial litigation, securities, and consumer litigation matters.
  • Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence in an efficient and responsive manner.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and quality work product.
  • Successfully meet deadlines, expectations, and perform work duties as required.
  • Foster positive work relationships.
  • Comply with all firm policies and practices.
  • Engage in both physical and sedentary activity, such as working at a computer for extended periods of time, including on-screen reading and typing; participating in digital/virtual conference calls; participating in meetings as needed.
  • Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 firm.
  • Superior writing, research, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with class action defense is highly preferred.
  • Strong academic background from nationally recognized schools.
  • Previous federal clerkship is a plus.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar.

 

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple matters and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in legal research and analysis.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
