A law firm is seeking a Business Immigration Associate Attorney for their Atlanta office. The Business Immigration Associate Attorney will be responsible for developing case strategies, counseling clients, managing immigration program compliance, and supervising junior associates. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience at the Associate level, possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

 

Duties:

  • Develop case strategies, including researching, drafting, reviewing, and counseling clients.
  • Communicate regularly with clients and foreign nationals regarding procedural issues and case strategy.
  • Support clients in immigration program management and compliance.
  • Assess eligibility of corporate foreign national employees for non-immigrant and immigrant visa status.
  • Prepare petitions and applications for submission to government agencies.
  • Draft legal documents and letters based on established precedents.
  • Conduct research to support client requests and projects.
  • Supervise junior associates and provide mentoring and coaching.
  • Seek opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and standardization of processes.
  • Use firm technology accurately and in line with team and client protocols.
  • Contribute to team meetings and firmwide activities.
  • Ensure compliance with firm standards and policies.
  • Perform other duties as required.

 

Requirements:

  • . Juris Doctor (JD) or Master of Laws (LLM) degree.
  • Member of a US State Bar or Washington DC Bar association.
  • 2-3 years of experience at the Associate level.
  • Expanded practical understanding of immigration law.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Dedication to exceptional client service.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
