We are currently seeking an experienced Associate General Counsel to join our Litigation group within the Office of General Counsel. In this role, you will provide legal support for KPMG's Practice Protection Team and represent the company in civil litigation proceedings and regulatory investigations.

Responsibilities:

- Provide legal counsel for civil litigation, third-party subpoenas, and regulatory investigations
- Represent KPMG and its professionals in civil litigation proceedings and regulatory investigations
- Develop and implement strategies for successful and cost-effective resolution of litigation claims and regulatory investigations
- Supervise outside counsel and collaborate with other members of the Office of General Counsel
- Report to and consult with senior leaders on legal issues arising in litigation and regulatory matters
- Assist in financial projections for supervised matters

Requirements:

- Minimum of 18 years of experience in a well-regarded law firm or in-house legal department
- Experience in defending complex civil litigations and regulatory investigations involving accounting firms, professional organizations, or financial institutions is a plus
- JD or LLM from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in the .
- Experience serving within the Division of Enforcement of the SEC or PCAOB is a plus, but not required
- Ability to manage multiple litigations, investigations, and projects simultaneously with high-quality results
- Excellent analytical, writing, communication, and client counseling skills
- Demonstrated collaboration skills and ability to build strong business partnerships
