A law firm in Denver, CO is seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney to handle all functions of a case from initial client meeting through to case resolution. Motion practice and knowledge of litigation procedures are required. The ideal candidate will possess essential skills, including client focus, collaboration/team-building skills, communication proficiency, leadership, and problem-solving/analysis.

 

Duties:

  • Manage all aspects of case development and resolution
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs
  • Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts
  • Lead and collaborate with legal teams on case strategy and execution
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients
  • Handle negotiations and settlements

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Current member of the Colorado Bar
  • 3-5 years of civil litigation experience preferred
  • Experience with First Party Property Damage cases preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish helpful
