Job Overview: A law firm in Kansas City, MO, is seeking a motivated and experienced Associate Attorney to manage personal injury caseloads through the pre-litigation claim process. The ideal candidate will be responsible for interacting and negotiating with insurance companies, maintaining positive client relationships, and drafting various legal documents. The Associate Attorney should have at least 1 year of personal injury law experience, hold an active Bar license in Missouri (preferably in Kansas as well), and possess excellent organizational and communication skills.

Job Details:

  • Manage personal injury caseloads through the pre-litigation claim process.
  • Interact and negotiate with insurance companies.
  • Communicate and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery requests and responses, settlement agreements, and other legal documents as required.
  • Ensure the accuracy of all documents prepared.
  • Comply with all legal standards and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Active Bar license in Missouri.
  • 1 year of personal injury law experience.
  • Active Bar license in Kansas (preferred).
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
  • Commitment to providing superb responsive and compassionate client service.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, etc.) and tech-savvy.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal relations.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
