Job Overview: A law firm in Tempe, AZ is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Civil Litigation practice. The successful candidate will handle a diverse range of cases, including contract disputes, personal injury claims, and employment matters. They will be responsible for conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, managing discovery, and representing clients in court. The Associate Attorney will collaborate closely with experienced partners and have the opportunity to take on challenging cases.

Duties:

• Handle a broad spectrum of cases, including contract disputes, personal injury claims, employment matters, and more.
• Conduct legal research to support case strategy and arguments.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Manage the discovery process, including document production and interrogatories.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, motions, and trials.
• Collaborate closely with experienced partners on case strategy and execution.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the Arizona State Bar in good standing.
• Demonstrated experience in civil litigation, preferably within a law firm setting.
• Experience in the courtroom and taking depositions; trial experience is a plus.

• Ability to manage a caseload independently, while also working collaboratively with team members.

Education:
