A law firm in Richmond, VA, is currently seeking a Litigation Attorney with 3-6 years of commercial litigation experience involving various areas such as construction and employment disputes, crisis management, and appearances in state and federal court for matters involving breach of contract, defamation, emergency injunctions, declaratory judgments, breach of fiduciary duty, and equitable claims. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, enjoy working collaboratively with team members, and have an interest in learning about new topics across different industries. The role includes consistent and direct contact with clients.

Duties:

• Manage commercial litigation cases, including construction and employment disputes, crisis management, and appearances in state and federal court.
• Handle matters involving breach of contract, defamation, emergency injunctions, declaratory judgments, breach of fiduciary duty, and equitable claims.
• Maintain consistent and direct contact with clients.
• Utilize exceptional writing skills, organization, and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with team members on a daily basis.

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of commercial litigation experience.
• Experience in State and Federal Court.
• Strong organizational skills and an interest in learning about new topics in various industries.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Virginia.

Skills:
