Tax Manager - Financial Services - Global Information Reporting (East Region City Locations)
- Salary range: $84,980 - $193,440

Position Summary:
- Strategic and creative tax professional opportunity
- Work on international tax regimes contributing to global tax transparency
- Understand financial services and products across various industries
- Manage complex withholding tax rules domestically and internationally
- Coordinate efforts in multiple countries and manage international teams
- Experience in FATCA, CRS, 1042/1042-S reporting or 1099 preferred

Responsibilities:
- Provide advisory services to financial institutions on FATCA, CRS, Chapter 3 and Chapter 61 of the Internal Revenue Code, and other global information reporting and withholding regimes
- Coordinate international teams to assist financial institutions with compliance efforts
- Build relationships with clients and manage engagement workflow while supervising tax consultants
- Perform detailed reviews of reporting data, tax form validations, and notifications
- Contribute to internal technology development and assist with design, drafting, and testing
- Participate in trainings and educate tax consultants on regulations

- Leading the transformation and digitalization of the tax profession
- Providing services to the largest financial institutions in the world
- Services range from FATCA, CRS, chapter 3 and 61 tax compliance globally, technology development, consulting services, and more

Qualifications Required:
- Ability to work in a hybrid work model that requires in-person co-location 2-3 days per week
- 5+ years' experience in FATCA, CRS, chapter 3 and chapter 61 of the Internal Revenue Code, Qualified Intermediaries, 871 m) or other withholding and reporting regimes
- Preparation and review experience of FATCA tax returns, CRS reporting, and tax forms validation
- Experience with managing teams and engagement workflows
- Ability to travel 25% on average
- Active accreditation such as CPA, licensed attorney, enrolled agent, or certifications such as CFA or CFP preferred
- Advanced degree such as Masters of Tax, JD, and/or LLM preferred
- Previous experience at a Big 4 or large CPA firm preferred
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
