Duties:

  • Prosecute patent applications at a mid-level capacity

  • Handle Inter Partes Reviews (IPRs)
  • Stay updated with video coding standards and technologies
  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop effective patent strategies
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information
  • Manage time effectively to meet deadlines for multiple projects

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of prosecution experience at a firm or in-house
  • Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
  • Strong knowledge and solid experience in video processing and video codecs
  • Familiarity with video coding standards
  • Experience in virtual/augmented reality and AI is a plus
  • Graduate-level experience or advanced technical degree is a plus
  • Involvement with patent analysis/opinions of counsel and IPRs is a plus
  • Admission to the USPTO is a plus
