The Estate Planning, Probate, And Business Formation Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing expert legal counsel to clients in estate planning, probate, and business formation matters. The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctor degree, active Georgia State Bar membership, and at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Duties:

  • Lead in estate planning, probate, and business formation.
  • Meet clients, assess needs, provide expert legal counsel, and build lasting relationships.
  • Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and more.
  • Assist in designing business structures and tax planning.
  • Stay updated on laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and lead.
  • Attend hearings and represent clients in contested probate matters.
  • Assist lead counsel with matters appealed to the Superior Court.
  • Enhance the firm's presence in various forums.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in estate planning, probate, and business formation.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school in good standing.
  • Active Georgia State Bar membership.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
