A law firm in Emeryville, CA, seeks a Mid-level Wage and Hour Attorney with 6-9 years of experience. The ideal candidate must be admitted to the California Bar and possess solid experience in handling wage and hour matters.

Duties:

• Provide legal advice and representation to clients on wage and hour compliance and disputes.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on wage and hour laws, regulations, and legal precedents.
• Assist in developing case strategies and tactics for wage and hour litigation and arbitration.
• Draft and review legal documents, including complaints, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
• Represent clients in administrative proceedings, arbitrations, mediations, and court hearings related to wage and hour issues.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff on wage and hour cases and class actions.
• Conduct client interviews, depositions, and witness examinations.
• Stay updated on developments in wage and hour laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of California.
• Minimum of 6-9 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on wage and hour matters.
• Knowledge of California wage and hour laws and regulations.
• Experience in handling wage and hour litigation and administrative proceedings.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Certifications:
