Amazon is looking for a Corporate Counsel specializing in Trademark and Intellectual Property to join their dynamic team. This position will be responsible for managing trademark matters for multiple business segments in product and content spaces. The ideal candidate will have a law degree, 5+ years of experience, and expert-level knowledge of trademark and copyright issues.

Responsibilities:

- Directly manage clearance, prosecution, maintenance and enforcement of US and foreign trademark portfolio
- Counsel clients on trademark, copyright, and domain name issues
- Develop and implement intellectual property protection policies
- Educate and coach business teams on intellectual property matters
- Lead investigations and negotiations to resolve third-party trademark disputes

Qualifications:

- Law degree and membership in good standing in at least one state bar or foreign equivalent
- 5+ years of experience managing a trademark portfolio
- Experience with resolving third-party trademark disputes

Preferred Qualifications:

- Expert-level knowledge of trademark and copyright issues
- Ability to manage all trademark and copyright-related activities for multiple business segments
- Creativity, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
- Ability to understand and resolve complex legal and business issues
- Passion for branding

Compensation for this position is based on experience and includes equity compensation. The base pay ranges from $123,100/year to $229,000/year depending on location.
