Job Details:

• Conduct audits of employer practices, focusing on wage and hour policies and procedures.
• Draft and revise incentive compensation documents, including commission and bonus plans.
• Create and update policies, handbooks, and employee communication documents to ensure clarity and compliance.
• Communicate complex employment law issues in an easily understandable manner to diverse audiences.
• Identify problem-solving options, presenting pros and cons for clients to make informed decisions.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admitted to the California State Bar and in good standing.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant legal experience.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local workplace and employment law; familiarity with California law is a plus.
• Understanding current agency (state and federal) enforcement techniques is advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and project management skills.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
• Preferred experience in conducting training sessions or workplace investigations.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar and active status.
