Duties:

  • Mediation experience
  • Trial experience
  • Researching and analyzing the law on complex legal issues
  • Writing memorandums, briefs, letters, and other documents
  • Maintaining a professional attitude with a strong sense of discretion to keep sensitive information secure and private
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills when working with clients, members of the court, and other employees
  • Strong organizational abilities and time management skills to handle multiple cases simultaneously
  • Marketing your and the firm’s services to prospective clients
  • Performing discovery of various electronically stored data and hard copies of information in preparation for litigation
  • Performing due diligence in legal matters concerning contracts, agreements, and mergers and acquisitions
  • Managing a schedule to allow for consultations and closure of consults to sufficiently reach production/collection objectives, including outside core hour and weekend consults
  • Closing consults within the firm's range of 30-50%, depending on the practice area
  • Timely approval of invoices is critical to the business's health on a monthly-to-month basis. Failure to do so regularly may result in disciplinary and timely financial consequences.
  • Ensure support staff are fully utilized and productive.
  • Accurately and completely update CC with fees, engagement, trust, client information, invoices, etc., as required.
  • If over-subscribed, share work tasks with other attorneys and support staff to ensure the firm meets the objective of serving communities.
  • Actively engage in brand (personal and firm) expansion through blogs, social media posts, board and organization participation, etc.
  • Actively seek positive comments from successful client engagements and positive star reviews.
  • Communicating and advising clients
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
