KPMG is currently seeking an Experienced Senior Associate to join our International Tax practice. As a Senior Associate, you will have the opportunity to work with KPMG's extensive network of specialists and access our Ignition Centers, where industry knowledge meets technology to create innovative tax solutions. With a focus on collaboration and professional development, KPMG empowers its employees to succeed and invests in their future.

Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice to multinational enterprises on business decisions, such as location and operation, entity choice, supply chain optimization, and capital mobilization
- Analyze and prepare complex tax models to illustrate effective tax rates and cash tax expenses for multinational entities
- Advise clients on tax planning decisions and help them understand the potential short- and long-term consequences at a global level
- Structure tax aspects of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other transactions, while also drafting tax opinions and memos
- Assist with tax provision preparation for financial statements and review compliance work
- Advise clients on income tax treaty planning opportunities
- Provide specialized services to alternative investment companies, helping at all stages of the investment life cycle

Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years of experience in international, mergers and acquisitions, and/or federal tax planning
- Bachelor's degree required, with preference for Masters in Taxation, JD, or LLM with a concentration in tax
- Strong knowledge of international and domestic tax law provisions
- Excellent research and writing skills, as well as proficiency in Excel and oral communication
- Ability to manage multiple engagements, lead client service teams, and mentor new and experienced staff professionals
- Proven ability to develop and deepen client relationships and expand the KPMG footprint in local and global markets

- Salary ranges are determined based on relevant factors such as skills, job responsibilities, experience, and market considerations
