Duties:

  • Counsel clients on various renewables projects, emphasizing facilities operations and power purchase agreements.
  • Provide legal advice and representation in litigation matters related to renewables projects.
  • Handle all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, motions, discovery, and trial preparation.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on renewables-related legal issues.
  • Draft and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to renewables projects.
  • Manage client relationships and communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.

 

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Litigation Attorney.
  • Robust experience in renewables, including knowledge of wind, solar, hydroelectric, and fuel cell facilities, smart grid and energy storage, and energy efficiency and demand-side management.
  • Portable book of business.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing of the Bar.

 

Skills:

  • Strong litigation skills, including experience in all aspects of litigation.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues.
