Job Overview:

The Patent Attorney will draft, file, and prosecute patent applications in the US and foreign countries. Additionally, the attorney will advise clients on IP-related matters and prepare IP agreements. They may also assist in litigation, including trademark oppositions and federal and state court cases.

Duties:

• Drafting, filing, and prosecuting patent applications in the US and foreign countries.
• Advising clients on intellectual property-related matters.

Requirements:

• Strong academic background.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Bar in at least one state.
• Registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
