A law firm is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate Attorney for their San Diego, CA office.

Job Overview: The Employment Litigation Associate Attorney will be responsible for defending and litigating lawsuits involving a wide array of employment-related claims and agency charges. Additionally, they will counsel, advise, and train employers on various employment and labor law matters.

Job Duties:

  • Defend and litigate lawsuits involving various employment-related claims and agency charges.
  • Advise, counsel, and train employers on employment and labor law issues.
  • Handle Class Action/PAGA cases with preference.
  • Represent employers in court, arbitration, administrative agencies, and mediations in employment matters, including class/collective actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, contract, employment tort, and non-compete cases

Requirements:

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials
  • 4-6 years of experience, with a strong background in employment law preferred
  • Current CA Bar admission in good standing
  • Understanding of current agency (state and federal) procedures

Skills:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to excellence
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills
