A law firm in San Diego, CA, is seeking a Mid-level Government Contracts Associate Attorney with experience in counseling clients on government contracts laws, negotiating agreements, and litigating bid protests. The candidate must demonstrate a high level of academic achievement and possess exceptional writing, drafting, and communication skills.

Duties:

• Counsel clients on government contracts laws and regulations.
• Review and negotiate subcontracts and teaming agreements.
• Litigate bid protests at the Government Accountability Office and/or Court of Federal Claims.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on complex government contracts issues.
• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and briefs.
• Conduct legal research on government contracts laws and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and government agencies.

Requirements:

• JD required.
• 3+ years of experience in government contracts law.
• High level of academic achievement.
• Superb writing, drafting, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of government contracts laws and regulations.
• Experience negotiating contracts and litigating bid protests.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of government contracts laws and regulations.
