# Senior Counsel, M&A The ideal candidate for Senior Counsel, M&A will have experience in complex M&A transactions, including global public and private mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, investments and joint venture transactions. They will have a JD degree, and between 5-15 years of law firm or in-house legal department experience. Experience with IP, employment and antitrust issues are a plus. The successful candidate will be highly organized and motivated, able to drive deals while working well both as part of a team and independently, with a proven track record of working with senior management. ## Job Responsibilities The Senior Counsel, M&A will report to the Deputy General Counsel overseeing M&A, Corporate Finance, Real Estate and Software Business Units. The successful candidate will: - Handle complex M&A transactions, including global public and private mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, investments and joint venture transactions. - Apply knowledge of intellectual property (IP), employment and antitrust issues. - Demonstrate strong organizational and motivation skills, and drive deals while working well both as part of a team and independently. - Have a proven track record of working with senior management. ## Qualifications and Requirements The ideal candidate for the Senior Counsel, M&A role will have the following qualifications and requirements: - JD degree is required. - 5-15 years of law firm or in-house legal department experience required. - Experience with IP, employment and antitrust issues are a plus. - Highly organized and motivated, able to drive deals while working well both as part of a team and independently. - Proven track record of working with senior management. ## Compensation and Benefits The annual base salary range for this position is $153,000 - $255,000. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
