A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Appellate Litigation Associate Attorney or Counsel to join their team. The ideal candidate will have prior appellate experience, either as a law clerk or in practice, and must be admitted to the California Bar. Additionally, they should have graduated near the top of their law school class and participated in law review or moot court.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on appellate matters.
• Draft appellate briefs, motions, and other legal documents.
• Prepare for oral arguments before appellate courts.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy and development.
• Assist in managing client relationships and providing strategic legal advice.
• Stay updated on relevant legal developments and precedents in appellate law.

Requirements:

• Admission to the California Bar.
• Prior experience with appellate litigation, either as a law clerk or in practice.
• Strong academic credentials, preferably graduating near the top of their law school class.
• Participation in law review or moot court activities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to the California Bar.
