Job Overview: A law firm in Mesa, AZ, is seeking an experienced Employment Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of quality experience in labor and employment counseling and litigation. They must possess strong academic credentials, excellent writing and analysis skills, and a commitment to client relations. The Employment Attorney will provide legal advice and support to clients on various employment matters.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in labor and employment matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support client cases.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediation, and court proceedings.
• Advise clients on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Develop strategies and provide training to clients on employment law issues.
• Stay current on developments in employment law and provide updates to clients.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and employment counseling and litigation.
• Strong academic record and excellent professional credentials.
• Licensed to practice law in Arizona is preferred (active, in good standing).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to service excellence, integrity, ethics, and judgment.
• Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and collaboration skills.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Arizona State Bar is preferred.
• Certification in employment law preferred.
