Duties:

  • Work on domestic and international transactions for public and private companies.
  • Handle matters such as mergers and acquisitions, financings, joint ventures, and strategic alliances.
  • Draft and negotiate software and systems agreements, outsourcing agreements, and R&D agreements.
  • Draft and negotiate collaboration agreements, licenses (patent, trademark, copyright, and data/databases), and other commercial agreements.
  • Provide legal advice and support on technology and IP-intensive transactions.
  • Conduct due diligence and assist with transactional closings.

 

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience with technology and IP-intensive transactions or other relevant experience.
  • Outstanding credentials and qualifications.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction.

 

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of technology and intellectual property law.
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
