Duties:

• Engage in all aspects of the litigation and alternative dispute resolution process.
• Work directly with clients to understand their needs and provide legal counsel.
• Collaborate with a team on a variety of litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Prepare for and participate in hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Manage case files, including organizing documents, correspondence, and evidence.

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of prior litigation experience.
• Admission to practice law in Virginia.

Preferred Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Virginia State Bar.

• Substantive experience in complex commercial disputes, employment litigation, and/or real estate disputes is preferred.
