A law firm located in Kansas City, MO, is seeking an experienced Asbestos Litigation Attorney/Senior Counsel with a minimum of 3 years of experience in asbestos-specific litigation and a background in general product liability cases. Duties:

• Manage and oversee all stages of asbestos-specific litigation cases, from case assessment and investigation to trial or settlement.
• Handle general product liability cases, offering legal counsel and representation to clients.
• Conduct in-depth legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents, and respond to discovery requests.
• Collaborate with clients to obtain essential case-related information and documentation.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
• Represent clients in court, including appearances at hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
• Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients when appropriate.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on asbestos and product liability matters.
• Stay informed about changes in relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience with all stages of asbestos-specific litigation.
• Strong experience and familiarity with general product liability cases.
• Active Texas bar license and current practice in Texas.
• Excellent academic record.
• Proficient legal research and writing skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Education:
