A law firm in Charlotte is currently seeking an IP Patents Patent Specialist to work closely with attorneys and patent agents. The successful candidate will assist inventors in preparing and prosecuting patent applications related to emerging technologies. The role involves identifying inventions through technical discussions, drafting comprehensive patent applications, and managing patent portfolios.

Job Details:

• Work with attorneys and patent agents to assist inventors in preparing and prosecuting patent applications.
• Train to identify inventions through technical discussions with inventors.
• Draft comprehensive patent applications and prepare reports for patent portfolio management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science preferred.
• Relevant technical experience in data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, wireless communications, sensors, semiconductors, Internet of Things, or equivalent sectors is a plus.
