A law firm is seeking a Mid-To-Senior Level IP Litigation Associate Attorney with the following responsibilities:

Job Overview: The IP Litigation Associate Attorney will primarily focus on handling intellectual property litigation matters, including trademark disputes, patent litigation, and anti-counterfeiting matters. The ideal candidate will possess 3-6 years of relevant experience in IP litigation and demonstrate exceptional legal skills, client service, and communication abilities.

Duties:

  • Handle all aspects of IP litigation, including drafting briefs, motions, and other pleadings.
  • Prepare for and conduct depositions, hearings, and trials.
  • Work closely with experts, including technical and damage experts.
  • Manage USPTO office proceedings, including trademark oppositions and cancellations.
  • Conduct trademark searches and surveys to support litigation strategies.
  • Assist in anti-counterfeiting efforts, including drafting cease and desist letters and coordinating with law enforcement agencies.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of IP litigation experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in trademark and anti-counterfeiting matters is preferred.
  • Licensed to practice law in North Carolina or the ability to become licensed.
  • Superior client service skills.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities.

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the North Carolina State Bar or eligibility for admission.

Skills:
