The ideal candidate will have experience with written discovery, court appearances, depositions, pretrial motions, and handling litigation from inception to settlement or verdict. Strong drafting skills for various pleadings and complex motions are preferred, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis relevant to ongoing litigation matters.
  • Assist with written discovery in both state and federal court proceedings.
  • Make court appearances, handle depositions, and argue pretrial motions.
  • Manage litigation cases from inception to settlement or verdict.
  • Draft various pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on case strategy and management.
  • Maintain organized case files, deadlines, and client communications.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of California.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in civil litigation, preferably in employment law.
  • Experience with written discovery and court appearances preferred.
  • Strong drafting skills for pleadings and complex motions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:
