A law firm in Phoenix is seeking a Finance Attorney with 6-12 years of credit, banking, and finance experience. The ideal candidate must have experience in drafting, reviewing, and revising credit agreements, security agreements, and closing deliverables. Experience in representing private equity sponsors and portfolio companies would be beneficial. The candidate should possess a strong academic background and superior drafting and negotiation skills. They must be willing to take on significant responsibility for deal management, client interaction, and work product. Additionally, the candidate should be diligent, proactive, supportive, and team-oriented. They should be admitted to, or eligible for admission to, the Arizona Bar.

 

Duties:

  • Draft, review, and revise credit agreements, security agreements, and closing deliverables.
  • Represent private equity sponsors and portfolio companies in finance transactions.
  • Manage deals from inception to closing, including client interaction and negotiation.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance on complex finance matters.
  • Conduct due diligence reviews for finance transactions.
  • Assist with the structuring and documentation of finance transactions.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on finance matters.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • 6-12 years of credit, banking, and finance experience.
  • Experience in lender and/or borrower-side financings.
  • Experience in syndicated credit facilities, acquisition financings, and asset-based lending.
  • Strong academic background.
  • Superior drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Admitted to, or eligible for admission to, the Arizona Bar.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admitted to, or eligible for admission to, the Arizona Bar.

 

Skills:

  • Experience in drafting, reviewing, and revising credit agreements and other finance documents.
  • Knowledge of syndicated credit facilities, acquisition financings, and asset-based lending.
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
