A law firm in Raleigh, NC, is seeking a Business Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience in complex business disputes. The ideal candidate should have a strong desire to work in a fast-paced litigation practice. Experience as a federal court clerk is highly valued, and preference will be given to candidates with deposition and court experience, as well as expertise in legal research, drafting motions and briefs, managing complex e-discovery, and fact investigation and development. The successful candidate must be licensed or eligible to be immediately licensed in North Carolina, with excellent academic credentials and outstanding written and oral communication skills.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handle complex business disputes and litigation matters.
  • Conduct legal research and draft motions and briefs.
  • Manage complex e-discovery processes and document review.
  • Prepare deposition outlines and exhibits.
  • Engage in fact investigation and development.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and depositions.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
  • Provide legal advice and strategic guidance to clients.

 

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in complex business disputes.
  • Experience as a federal court clerk is especially valued.
  • Must be licensed or eligible to be immediately licensed in North Carolina.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

North Carolina Bar license or eligibility for immediate licensure.

 

Skills:
