A law firm in Atlanta, GA, is actively seeking a talented and experienced Real Estate Investment and Development Associate Attorney to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in corporate leasing, portfolio management, construction, property acquisition and disposition, real estate financing and investment, real estate joint ventures, and/or development and redevelopment.

Duties

  • Conduct legal research and analysis pertaining to real estate investment and development matters.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, leases, and financing agreements.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel on complex real estate transactions and investment strategies.
  • Collaborate with clients, developers, and other stakeholders to facilitate successful real estate projects.
  • Participate in negotiations and assist in structuring real estate deals.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate leasing, portfolio management, construction, property acquisition and disposition, real estate financing and investment, real estate joint ventures, and/or development and redevelopment.
  • Strong academic credentials with a focus on real estate law.
  • Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
  • Solid experience in sophisticated real estate law.
  • A strong work ethic and the desire to work collegially with and contribute to our national practice.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Georgia (GA).

Skills
