Job Description:

- Gain practical experience advising agencies on legal aspects of their mission
- Participate in complex civil litigation before administrative tribunals and federal courts
- Conduct legal research on environmental, administrative, and Indian law issues
- Draft legal memoranda, briefs, and motions, and assist with discovery in active federal cases
- Attend conference calls and strategy sessions with agency counsel and officials
- Opportunity to attend hearings and meetings in Washington, . area

Qualifications:

- Must be a student enrolled at least half-time
- Eligible students include undergraduate students, public policy graduate students, and law students (first-year second semester, second- and third-year, and graduates enrolled in graduate law programs)
- Good academic standing and official documentation from school required
