A law firm in Orange, CA, is seeking an Attorney with a focus on litigation, particularly within the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a high-volume caseload, handling court appearances, depositions, trial preparation, and engaging in legal research and discovery. Strong organizational, analytical, and written skills are essential for success in this role.

Duties:

• Prepare client-ready reports, both formal and informal
• Independently manage a high-volume caseload
• Handle court appearances, depositions, and trial preparation
• Conduct legal research, discovery, and fact investigation
• Interface with expert witnesses and conduct social media investigations
• Engage in law and motion practice
• Interface with medical records and terms (medical background or familiarity preferred)
• Collaborate with team members and work independently as necessary
• Maintain strong rapport with clients and provide exceptional client service

Requirements:

• JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in California and current member of the California State Bar
• 5+ years of litigation experience, preferably in matters involving the healthcare industry
• Excellent academic credentials
• Strong organizational, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Medical background or familiarity with medical records and terms is a plus
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong rapport-building abilities

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

Admitted to practice in California and current member of the California State Bar
